Shakeology

Shakeology. I remember getting a sample of the Chocolate Shakeology and immediately loving it. I logged onto my computer to purchase it & my jaw hit the floor. It costs WHAT??? There is absolutely NO WAY I'm going to pay $129.95 a month (or $4.33 a serving) for a stupid shake. No thanks.

Rewind back to my days in corporate America...where Starbucks was in the lobby of our building. I was a proud Starbucks Gold Card member & was there at least once a day. Sometimes, twice a day. And, I didn't just get coffee. I get the fun drinks...the expensive ones. Dropping $5-$10 a day on coffee ($110-$175 a month), sure! No problem! I'd never give up my coffee.

Once I realized that I'd be spending LESS on Shakeology than I would coffee, my mind started to shift. Spending that small amount on coffee every day never seemed like a lot, because I was spending a small amount daily. Had I had to pay for my monthly coffee up front, I probably would have had a bigger problem with it.
